A-Europa announces an anniversary concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of its creative activity. The event will take place on 31 August 2024 at the Ikšķile Stage.
A-Europa is a Latvian dance music band. The band has released two albums to date, both of which have been certified platinum in Latvia.
In the late 1980s, “Austrumeiropa” became known in Latvia as a pop music group with the duet of Arturs Duboks and his wife Patricija. According to the results of the Latvian Radio poll “Mikrofona aptauja”, the most successful songs were “Tev” (13th place, 1990), “Hei, maza!” (8th place, 1991) and “Dzivo uz nebedu” (19th place, 1992). This line-up ceased to exist in 1992.
In 1999, Arturs Duboks and Janis Lamsters, with the help of two dancers, created the dance music project A-Europa.
Arturs Duboks was born 19.12.1967, founder, leader and soloist of A-Europa, author of all A-Europa hits, music and lyrics.
In 2001 A-Europa released the Latvian and Russian versions of their debut album – “Tuvuma taluma” and Belie nebesa.
