Laima Vaikule Festival – the first day!

The artists will perform on 26 July 2024 at the Dzintari Concert Hall.

The concert starts at 19:00, entrance to the event from 18:00.

The first day of the festival, on 26th July, will feature Londonbeat, a band popular for their unique fusion of R&B, pop and soul music with modern techno rhythms.

Their famous song “I’ve Been Thinking About You” was released in 1991 and quickly topped the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Dance Music/ Club charts, and in 2019 a remix of the hit returned to the top ten of the Billboard dance charts.

The first day will also be dedicated to supporting Ukraine. Ukrainian artists Verka Serduchka, NK I NASTYA KAMENSKYKH, Max Barskih, ALEKSEEV, Anna Butkevich, Uliana Olhyna and Maria Maksakova will take the stage.

Dzintari Concert Hall (Latvian: Dzintaru koncertzāle) is a concert complex located in Jurmala, widely known in Latvia as a venue for a number of festivals and other spectacular events. For almost 70 years, it has been hosting performances of famous artists every summer.

The annual jazz and classical music festivals, comedy festivals and shows, the colourful ballet festival “Ballet Stars in Jurmala”, the young performers’ competition “New Wave”, the international classical music festival Summertime and other musical events have become a tradition at Dzintari.
