Created in the 80s by German producer Michael Cretu, the Enigma project won the hearts of millions of listeners thanks to its unique sound, which harmoniously intertwined Gregorian chants, ethnic psalms, church bells, organ music and other instruments. This musical synthesis created a distinctive atmospheric and sometimes psychedelic soundscape.

70 million records sold, over 100 gold and platinum certifications – phenomenal sales and at the same time the mystery surrounding the performers’ identities have made Enigma one of the most enigmatic musical phenomena of the last decades. At the same time, Enigma never participated in live performances and remained exclusively a studio project.

In 2018, DC Music created the project Original Enigma Voices and brought original Enigma vocalists to their shows, including Angel X, known for the megahit Return to Innocence. From 2018 to 2024, these shows were supplemented with a live band and string orchestra. However, in 2024 it was decided to rethink the concept – previous interpretations did not live up to the essence of Enigma and did not fully capture the soul of its music.
